Teen Advisory Board
The Arkansas Arts Center's Teen Advisory Board offers opportunities for creative and motivated teens to play for a role in developing the arts community in Central Arkansas.
The Teen Advisory Board works to develop new avenues to serve teen audiences, plan and execute projects and events for teens, and promote dialogue and inclusivity at the Arkansas Arts Center. Board members learn about all aspects of the museum, performing arts center, and art school through behind-the-scenes activities and experiences. Through engagement with art appreciation, art making and the performing arts, participants inform the direction of the Arts Center's programs and activities for teens.
By creating a space for open dialogue with teen community members, the Arts Center continues to instill the value of the arts in young people throughout Arkansas, foster skills in critical and creative thinking, teamwork, flexibility and empathy, and offer avenues to explore exciting career paths.
