Art Together: A Program for those with Dementia-spectrum Illness and their care partners

ART TOGETHER is a program designed to create positive experiences for those with Dementia-spectrum illnesses and their care-partners using the artwork in the Arkansas Arts Center collection and through art making. ART TOGETHER occurs on the third Monday of each month when the Arkansas Arts Center is closed to the general public. Educators lead an experience with our collection that lasts between 40 and 50 minutes. After the tour, groups will have an hour lunch followed by an art making experience in the Museum School. To make sure everyone has a quality experience, each participant must be accompanied by a caregiver.  Call 501-372-4000 to make reservations.

Art Together is made possible through a partnership with Alzheimer's Arkansas.
