The Friends of Contemporary Craft (FOCC) is an affiliate-membership group of the Arkansas Arts Center whose members share an interest in learning about and promoting an appreciation of contemporary art in craft-based media—clay, glass, fiber, metal and wood—and the artists who create them.

Through exhibitions and tours at the Arkansas Arts Center, FOCC members enjoy numerous opportunities throughout the year to develop a more informed appreciation of the studio craft movement. Equally important, FOCC members actively assist in the acquisition of objects for the Art Center’s world-renowned craft collection.

Other exciting opportunities available to FOCC members include: artist demonstrations and workshops; trips to the annual Sculpture Objects Functional Art + Design (SOFA) fair and other art fairs; tours of private collections and other museum collections; and much more.
