When will the Arkansas Arts Center at Riverdale reopen to the public?

Following guidance from the City of Little Rock and public health officials, the Arkansas Arts Center’s Riverdale location closed to the public on Friday, March 13 and will remain closed until further notice. The Riverdale facility is being deep cleaned and thoroughly UV sanitized at this time. As these procedures must take place without people present in the building, public access is not allowed at this time.

Who can I contact regarding my Museum School Spring Quarter registration?

For the safety of our students and faculty, the Museum School’s spring quarter has been canceled, and registration fees will be refunded, transfered or donated to the AAC. For questions regarding your Spring Quarter registration, please contact us here: https://www.arkansasartscenter.org/contact

Can I retrieve my work left in the Museum School studios?

For your own safety, public access to the Museum School is not allowed at this time. Your items will be available when the Museum School reopens to the public.

When will the Children’s Theatre on Tour or the Artmobile be resuming its schedule?

Children’s Theatre on Tour and Artmoble on Tour will resume when local and federal authorities deem it safe to gather. At present, social distancing guidelines are recommended through April 30, 2020.

What is the Arkansas Arts Center doing to help at this time?

The Arkansas Arts Center is following the guidance of city, state and federal public health officials in taking the appropriate actions to limit the spread of COVID-19. The Arts Center has also donated gloves and masks from exhibition and Museum School supplies to local hospitals to aid and protect our local healthcare professionals, including providing 800 particulate masks and 900 gloves to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Additionally, Museum School and Children’s Theatre staff have been utilizing fabric supplies and sewing masks at home to provide to the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System.
